I never need to make a Sonic OC because Blaze the Cat has me covered on all fronts. This is my hole perfect Sonic character, it she was made for me.

As for my obligatory Phantasy Star waifu, it's... surprisingly not one of the Numans, but Amy Sage! What can I say, she's a cute medic who can also cut weakened bio-monster throats with a scalpel, let alone shoot even more fire with her token Foi technique, let alone the Fire Staff for free. Plus I like her outfit, especially the shawl / cloak / mantle / whatever.

No problem... I just tend to fixate on such details, for better or worse LOL.
I can understand why they renamed the characters, so that they'd fit on the combat window (4 characters tops).

But there was absolutely no reason to change Lyla's name, short of the translator doing it for the LOLs or trying to create some sort of needless connection between installments (the connections already exist and are abundant, even though the original script is much clearer about them).

Ulala from Space Channel 5 is absolutely the stand-out. Great design and character, and should be considered a Sega mascot after only Sonic.

I like the posters saying Gum from Jet Set Radio too, just don't think she's as iconic. I get that Sega owns Atlus now but I feel like Persona characters are cheating a bit, they hail from a completely different console legacy.

if it seemed I was makin fun of you or somethin on the 'SiLLy things we do' thread - I certainly was not. I didn't even know bareLy what having autism entailed until a therapist with some doctah-degrees diagnosed me as havin 'Asperger's Syndrome' - which I hear they've done away with now as a viable/relevant diagnosis. I talked to a female doctor friend of mine in one of my mainstay discord chats who explained the fundamental differences between the overlapping symptoms of autism, sociopathy n OCD. I have more ticks than a procrastinating timebomb xD it's just that they migrate n differ from one reLativeLy brief phase to another - which can be a lil confusing n frustrating from the conditioning of daiLy routine comforts n enjoying the encapsulated containing of passions, hobbies, pursuits as they expand, evolve, unfoLd.

I appreciate exacting ppl who actively acknowledge that without the accumulative stockpiling additions n arrangements of details there is no big picture. beats deaLing with ppl who use ambiguity as a tooL to ensure spontaneous n convenient ongoing conflict n justification for the outward projection of insecurities n the wallowing piggy mudpit of character flaw as distasteful, manipulative, class-devoid weaponry

Nei's death hit me so hard, it was Aerith almost a decade earlier. Funny thing is, while I got over Aerith dying, Nei's has always left me with a bitter taste.
