The European Sonic CD manual has an amazingly bad translation that explains what a "fuck zone" is. And no, this wasn't a case of European Spanish being different from Brazilian Spanish (*Portuguese) or anything similar either. Putos means the same thing everywhere afaik.

This name was used for those dash panels in the special stages, and I like to think that maybe the translator played the game and found them really annoying lol

O manual europeu do Sonic CD tem uma tradução extremamente ruim que explica o que é uma "zona de foda". E não, não se tratava de um caso do espanhol europeu ser diferente do espanhol brasileiro ou algo parecido. Putos significa a mesma coisa em todos os lugares, pelo que sei.

Esse nome era usado para aquelas placas nos projetos especiais, e eu gosto de pensar que talvez o tradutor jogou o jogo e os achou muito achado rsrs

Yup, brain fart on my end. Fixed. Though the point still stands that there's absolutely no way the word could've been mixed up with something else, as, in both Spanish and Portuguese, "putos" definitely can't be referring to dash pads

I understand, sorry, I just wanted to lean in and defend that I hate people thinking that Brazil speaks Spanish or we are close to Mexico.
