I'm a little rusty and the d-pad on my controller is sort of weird

Can you elaborate on what it is, because I don't know what I'm looking at.

Don't have a screenshot of it, but I once saw someone get a score so high on Columns (the home version) that the line of digits started appearing outside the score counter area and then eventually stretched off screen and appeared on the opposite side of the screen.
T'was impressive.
