For me, the best kind of pets are the ones that can also be used as modes of transport.
Like the Palamute, for example:
I mean, it's literally just a dog but you can ride it like a horse.

Or Garchomp, as another example:
Screw walking, you can just fly around on Garchomp's back anywhere you want.

And last but not least, Lapras:
Covering sea travel for you.

I have two choices:

Meet Kushala Daora, the Elder Dragon who makes storms

With all the climate instability nowadays, whipping up a storm on demand means you can charge a hefty fee for it

My other choice:

Meet the Felynes/Airou

From cooking awesome food, keeping your house clean, dragging your sorry butt back to camp before you get eaten to chucking barrel bombs at your enemies, these topcats are my best bet
