Somewhere only God knows.
So I have been wanting to play Pokémon black 2/white 2 for the longest time but because of the absurd prices they go for, I now want to emulate them but I don't want to do that via pc cause I want to be able to play the game on the go.

So is there a portabel emulation console that has not just Pokémon black 2/white 2 but other Pokémon games and also other games outside of Pokémon?

You can check handhelds from Anbernic and Powkiddy for retro stuff

You can always use your phone to emulate them, along with the Gameboy and GBA games, a phone can decently run games of consoles up to the Wii.

If you have a 3DS you can install CFW and install some emulators and play pretty much all mainline Pokemon games up to Ultra Moon and also play NES, SNES, GB, GBA, N64, NDS, Sega Master System and Sega Genesis games besides the whole 3DS catalogue, the Nintendo 3DS is pretty much the ultimate portable emulation machine (I think)

If you wanna go for something more powerful, the AYN Odin 2 runs up to PS2 and Wii just fine, and many Switch and PC games run well too. I finished Pokemon Shield on it

Anbernic by far is my recommendation for retro games like psp to atari. Retroid is also good if you want something more powerful, like ps2, but more expensive. Anbernic is normally run on linux and retroid would be android, with that being the biggest factor besides power

For DS/3DS games like Black and White I would recommend a 3DS or DS itself like Tr4sh_Kun mentioned already, but if you want an emulation device then I recommend Anbernic RG Cube, it can do 3DS and below system and have a 1:1 aspect ratio screen that looks okay-ish.

The NDS is very simple to mod. It takes all of 5 minutes if I remember correctly. and portable. and the added bonus of tons of games to boot.

can run the Twilight hack from an SD card as well, so lots of storage.

NDSs aren't pricey anymore, so cheap too. unless of course you want other systems as well (PSP, N64, etc.).

I'd recommend
  • Emulate on your phone. You'll be surprised just how damn good phone emulators are, plus you get save states, cheats (for limited time events/event pokemon!) and all kinds of other benefits.
  • Original hardware (or 3DS) + flash cart. If you have a 3DS in a drawer somewhere, it's almost a no-brainer. This is the closest you can get to a completely authentic experience, which is great if you're a weirdo like me who likes tapping the touch screen to battle in pokemon.
The handhelds mentioned in this thread are a legit option but they're not my preferred option. They're not cheap and the quality of your experience can depend on how good the available community custom firmware is. I think getting a 3DS XL is a better pick -but still, YMMV.

Saw this recently, pretty cheap ($75). Made specifically for DS. Check out the reviews when it releases in mid-April

nice vertical screen it's good to play rayden or some shoot em up games

What are good N handheld console emulators for iOS? I am interested primarily in GBC/GBA, but next gens would be nice to have too.

I know there’s Delta and SameBoy…
I wonder how it would look like on 10-inch tablet screen. And don’t plan to use controller, only utilising touch screen.

Any recommendations please?

Those are nice for a pretty low price. I wouldn't worry too much about the two screens. Most games worth playing don't use the second screen for more than a menu, just map a hotkey to swap the display.
