Tried it a year or two ago, for sure the most impressive Pokemon hack I've seen. If you ignore the storyline it's a pretty great time.

I'd have to play it again to remember exactly, but I recall thinking it was a generic dark fantasy, and a weird fit for Pokemon.

Probably be a weird fit for Pokemon, Final Fantasy plots tend to involve saving the world from a magic doom. Actually I think that's all of them, except XII?

Still, take what I said with about the story with a grain of salt, it looks like theirs been a fair few revisions since I played it last. Also, mechanically it really is incredible, a feat of romhacking to be sure.

The soundtrack has been a regular listen for the last few years. Don't think this wave of difficult Pokémon hacks will grow on me, though.

I was playing this game for a while, and then I got stuck on the Electric/Steel gym's puzzle, and then I put the game down and never touched it again lol.

Not because I didn't like it, but just because I kept forgetting to look up the puzzle's solution, and then when I'd start the game up on my commute I'd be reminded that I did not in fact look up that puzzle's solution. And I don't have service on my commute.

And now it's been months, and I kinda forgot what I was doing.

Ironically this would make it more appealing to me. I'm not really interested in Pokemon even though I'm a fan of creature collection/summoning games, so anything that turns Pokemon into SMT is a plus for me. Checking it out
