One thing to note is that Eternatus is the origin of its regional phenomenon. There would be no Dynamaxing, let alone Gigantamax forms, if it had never landed in Galar.

Hmm as far as I remember the game is not 1:1 demake. So story itself as in what happened seem to remain but how story unfolds and how it happens and what dialogues are there changed. This demake has developer's humor. For example there is a bug pokemon that says "I'm a bug or a feature" or something, so despite you may disliked the original it's fun to play the demake at least. Fans does what Nintendon't again lolol.

Doesn’t seem to work properly on my ez flash, the game keeps repeating to previous on your quest screen right in the beginning. Anyone have a solution for this?

Extensive hacks like these tend to have problems on certain devices/emulators. Make sure the safe type is set correctly, just in case.

Some madlads actually did this. I'm as genuinely impressed that someone demade Pokemon S&S as I am shocked that there were even enough people who were so passionate about this dumpster fire of a crap game to actually invest all the hours needed to create such a romhack.
Or maybe it didn't need to take nearly as long. Either way, genuine kudos to the teams of people involved in creating this romhack. They deserve a pat on the back and a beer.

Demaking a game is good for practice for video game development + it's a way to take a good idea and twist it to your personal preference. So to this demake's developers if Pokemon Sword had a great potential that cannot be fixed by simple modding then better demake it. By using Pokemon Fire Red and modding it relatively eases Pokemon demake projects especially as years passes knowledge to do it gets richer and richer. And then for some people working on such projects are fun and meaningful than watching Netflix or playing shitty games of today's lol. Sometimes you work on a project for a month but then you fail in a so dead end way your progress is wasted so your idea cannot be possible but still you had the fun + you got wiser for your next project. Either way there is a win here lol.
