For years they've been leaning more and more into the "Neutral Clinical Corporate Blue Blasé" as their brand image.
Ditching the PS button colors, making ugly hardware: essentially stripping the personality from everything Playstation.
So, it makes sense to me they'd want to get rid of the character images with personality as well, lol.

Man-O-Man, I don't know what's up with them lately... but it ain't lookin' good, y'all.

I don't especially love all of those "Remember *THIS* store?" accounts garnering nostalgia, it feels a bit like "I bought my personality, and kept the receipt!"

.....but I see that pizza, and I know *exactly* what it tastes like and I'm fucking starving and I would sell a loved one for a slice of it right now. I guess I'm the problem, now.

See, I get away with it because I didn't even like Pizza until I was an adult. Can't be nostalgic for childhood pizza if you never ate it

I'm still hoping for a pc release or something with Sony's newfound love for other platforms. That way we could probably host our own level sharing servers and keep the games going forever.

It's such a shame LBP got dropped the way it did, especially since games like Mario Maker proved there was still a market for the "make your own platformer levels" type game. Maybe I'm part of the problem for not buying and playing LBP 3, who knows.
