Streaming platforms are bad enough but I just can't understand why people 'buy' movies or music in a format that can be deleted by a 3rd party. With game consoles you don't have much of a choice unless you have a PC but movies and music can be watched and listened to on nearly every modern device out there.

I remembered an old story from an imaginary friend from a more developed country (compared to mine) about how he and his family were watching some Christmas family horror movie (Gremlins, Critters etc, I forget), paused it, and went for a walk at midnight.
