PS3 PlayStation 3 firmware 4.92 released

For those unaware, the reason Sony still updates the PlayStation 3 is because the Blu-ray player needs to be updated with new decryption keys so it can play newer Blu-ray discs. As of now, a version of Evilnat is in the works for 4.92, but if you have a hacked PS3, don't update it for now.

I agree! Despite the flack that people often give the Super Slim, I think it's a pretty gorgeous piece of hardware.

Well at least Sony still remembers that the PS3 exists unlike Nintendo who closes the E-Shop of any console that is 10 years old or older.

The PlayStation 3 is the only 7th gen console whose entire online functionality (store + online) is still operational. However, saying that... have you seen the PS3 store in the modern day? It's really, really slow.

Most likely you are right. But i didn't even use my PS3 for BR's when i actually had it hooked up.
I Hope it don't Bork any JB stuff.

Wasn't it always slow? I understand the store's "keyboard" works the way it does to show as many results as possible, but in my experience it took forever to find anything because it would slow down so much.
