It's a pretty cool metroidvania made circa 2005 by Platine Dispositif, a fairly well-known indie dev (at least by the standard of indie devs at the time)

Nice! I am at work so I won't be able to take my turn for several hours :( If someone else wants to go instead to keep things rolling that's totally fine, otherwise I'll post once I get home in 2 or 3 hours.

People had us wait for days sometimes. 3 hours is no biggie.

Speaking of both, I'm going for both guesses!

1) 1943 for NES

2) Magical Drop...3? Arcade style? I know it eventually got ported to Switch at least, no idea if it came out on like the Neo Geo or something in the 90s.

I'm just about 100% sure that the tougher one is Sonic Council but I have no idea what the easier one is. Seeing as I should be going to bed soon and I don't want a turn right now whoever guesses the plane game should post their entry.
