I'm not too sure if I'm posting it in the right place, but. Just in case, I have all the ROMs and BIOS for this console.
Also, I like to add that Ares Emulator supports both for the nightly build.
If there are any admins or moderators interested in trying these games, let me know. I send you private messages for the BIOS and ROMs.

So what is Pioneer LaserActive?

The Pioneer LaserActive, a LaserDisc player/home video game console hybrid that was released 1993 for $970. The base configuration could only play music CDs and LaserDisc movies, however, so you'd have to buy the optional Sega Genesis or NEC TurboGrafx-16 packs to play other games. They were expensive ($600 each) and only had a 20 LaserDisc hybrid games available each. From Japan and USA.

here are a game I recorded on my youtube channel give you a peek what the game are like.

ARES EMULATOR: Hyperion (U) - PEASU5019

Hyperion Story

hyperioncover.jpg

Introduction
In the year 2094, the Earth was controlled by an entertainment conglomerate known as the Abraxis Corporation, which had heavily stockpiled on weaponry against invasions from outer space. These efforts would ultimately be rendered meaningless, as one day the Earth was suddenly struck by an energy bomb sent by an invading force known as the Fesendenz, exterminating all life on the planet.

The only surviving humans in the solar system now live in space stations, continuing to raise children despite the massive losses. Three years later, the surviving humans have banded together to form a determined fighting force. Without ever knowing the Fesendenz's motivation for the attack, the global fleet located the Fesendenz's depot ship in the periphery of the solar system and attempted an attack, but was overwhelmed.

One day, while Culta and Keaki of a space aviation school were conducting training flights, they were captured by a mysterious creature known as Nordic, however Nordic was a benevolent creature who transformed their ships into formidable Hyperion ships. After Nordic released them, the two returned to the Abraxis space station in the Earth's orbit and were both given the mission of exterminating the Fesendenz and securing the future survival of the Earth. Proud of their elevated status as humanity's heroes, Culta and Keaki embarked in their Hyperion ships to fulfill their destinies.

My friend in high school's family had one with the Sega module. We played S3K on it a few times and I remember his little sister watching 101 Dalmatians on Laser Disc. He didn't have any of the Mega LD games afaik

Inteach game is A WHAPPIN SIZE OF 40GIGABYTE TO 140 GB.. and if you need to the resources. I have all 20+ Games Roms mmi format including the bios I will to share here.
each INDIVIDUAL game is 40gb!?like, really uncompressed bloat size right there lol

I wonder how this technology was even possible, I mean, Laser disc was an ANALOG video format, how could you possibly put digital data inside an analog disc? maybe that's why the file-size was so freaking large.
