Any fans of pinball games? I like them because they dont require your soul being eaten up to play.
Currently have star wars pinball installed on the switch and stern pinball on the PS5. Had pinball fx
but i think they discontinued the pool pass for it. My gaming PC build has recently added pinball
on their new update so hope to have it by autumn.

Yeah there were two computer games i played all the time as a kid, Loony Labyrinth and Eight-Ball Deluxe. Loony Labyrinth was by far the better game but Eight-Ball Deluxe was cool too. Then there was Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Pinball which reminds me of Dino Land a little bit with the layout of the board. Sonic Adventure had two pinball tables, one for Sonic and one for NiGHTS. The Sonic one is tricky because it's like playing a slot machine. But the NiGHTS one is easy. NiGHTS has multiple boards with cards you can match up into combos. It's easier and faster to aim at them with the pinball and rack up rings. Dragon's Fury, Dragon's Revenge, and Alien Crush are the best video game pinball games overall. Play them any way you can! As for real world pinball, I did try out a few last year when i visited a real arcade for the first time in my life. I played Banzai Run and Taxi. Banzai Run had two tables, one stacked over the other. A magnet would carry the ball up to the second board behind it. The flippers on both boards were controlled by the same buttons. Taxi was funny because of the different passengers and the voice clips for them. It had tracks that went all over the place like a Crazy Taxi. lol Then there's the best damn pinball machine i've ever seen in my life but i've never been able to play it myself. BLACK KNIGHT 2000. OH MY GOD. BLACK KNIGHT 2000. THE MOST EPIC PINBALL GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD. THE THEME SONG, MY GOD THE THEME SONG!!!

Sure. I'm glad I can play my favourite pinball machines on me PS2.

I really like Dragon's fury (aka Devil Crash) on Genesis

I liked the one that came bundled with Windows XP, and I remember enjoying quite a few physical machines, but their names escape me.

Oh! And I had a pretty rad mini-machine sold by the local TV channel Magic Kids.

I was really hooked at the time at Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Illusions, both very famous at the time.

Ah, that music from the main menu...

Nowadays I play pinball mainly at Pinball FX on the switch.

Videogame pinball, I like 3D Space Cadet as others mentioned, Alien Crush and Devil's Crush on TG16, and more recently DEMON'S TILT and XENOTILT which are really great evolutions of that TG16 style.
Physical, I really like Fireball by Bally, and Orbitor 1 by Stern. One of the things I already miss about Seattle is living so close to the pinball museum.

the GB Advance has some good ones mario and sonic pinball are sweet for a handheld.

the OG of pc pinball
another good pinball game on the GBA is "PINBALL OF THE DEAD" which is basically House of The Dead 2 Pinball.

Well there two pinball I like one on nes where the bonus are Mario and Lady and my second is Pinball of Windows XP.

Pinball games are my favorite. I like to use my Switch tablet to play Zen Pinball. Also the Pokemon pinball games are great. and of course pinball on NES. I am also making my own pinball game for PC and mobile eventually I will be able to share it.

yeah i still remember the rumble feature in the first Pokemon Pinball, Pikachu could talk and it would buzz when he used his electricity to bounce the ball back. The vibration was crazy back then!

Zen Pinball World has taken up permanent residence on my Cellphone. Love pinball and wish it hadn't become such a niche thing

Also have very fond memories of playing Epic Pinball with my dad on his pc, even if the physics weren't that great in some instances

Epic pinball was one of the first games I learned to install on my pc. im glad this site has the game I was able to setup dosbox and get it working. Not the best by todays standards but still great game design reference. I heard on a podcast that the guy that made the game got very rich

I never knew how much I needed Super Robot Pinball in my life before I came across it in the repo. I must have sunk 200 hours into Pokemon Pinball 1 & 2 and this scratches that itch in a super robot way.
