Anyone managed to fix the issue with the game crashing after character creation? Trying this on steamdeck/emudeck, with the settings suggested in the DL page.

The patch was designed to be compatible with original vita software (the TL team hasn't specifically designed this to be compatible with emulators).

Not the patch's fault, it's the emulator that's bs, specially the android flavor.

what is your guys setting in the vita 3k?
my character looks buggy

I can't talk about emulators, but this game is very demanding on real Vita. I remember crashed the game doing many bullet skills spaming.

Looks like a taihen issue with the config.txt file. Try to update autoplugin first, and see if other plugins work beside repatch. Also check if your rePatch folder is ok, its case sensitive, it's rePatch with P.
If you can't make it work, your best bet is /VitaPiracy on reddit

Thanks. I'll give it a try. Auto plugin was updated recently and I uninstalled and reinstalled the plug ins just to be safe.
My repatch folder is spelled RePatch, which i think I read could be an issue. But it won't let me change the name of the folder so I'm copying the content over and going to try to make a new folder. I think I've gotten other games to work like innocence r and trails in the sky, which is why im confused/annoyed as to why these other games don't work.

Can anyone attempt to help me with RePatch/getting english translations to work? I've tried this with a couple game (I am setsuna, Nelke and the legendary alchemists, and this). I use auto plugin II to download and install nonpdrm and repatch.
I download the NoNpDrm file for this game and copy it to the appropriate ux0 files in app, patch, and repatch. refresh livearea, and load up the game, but it is still in Japanese. I don't know if I have things configured incorrectly, but when I look up information about repatch, I don't see anything wrong, but the games are still in Japanese

luck for me no crash but when i look up Tips by MontyJack2020:
Uncheck "Disable Surface Sync" <--dont have it in vita3k and i update to latest version
i know this have have graphics issues hope there fix for it..or i can role-playing as unbidden (from stellaris ) sins my boy here look close to them XD

edit: just to make sure this for PC
edit 2: never mind Disable Surface Sync show up out of nowhere, before it was not there!

the game keeps crashing after you go the second part of the first area in the 1st quest (what a mouthful). Did this happen to anybody else?

had the same thing happen to me, mashed select to skip the cutscene and it didn't crash, nor have I crashed in any cutscene after that one, so it's probably a one off issue

Android Vita3kv12 crashed immidiatly after character creation. Tried various graphics drivers and varied settings. This game doesnt work......

Mine also crashed after character creation. The same for another guy in this thread. I tried it on pc and it didn't crash so it seems like this is an android only issue

Is it really hard to understand those status marks aren't perfect? So many games compatibility on vita3k are misleading because the dev doesn't bother checking and updating every reports.

nobodies perfect dude some people have lives and real jobs nobody can be right 100% of the time or correct stuff if that's so much of a issue take it up with vita3k and not throw spike under the damn bus for trying his best.

Hey Spike the vita version gives me C2 12828 1 error. I have nonpdrm and other translated games already on my vita oled.

Penco, it seems it didn't like I deleted the redundant file that are already in rePatch (even though rePatch says we can to save space). I'll make a new pack when I wake up.

*sighs* The shipped crashlanded and so did the emulator on Windows 11 24H2 for me. Latest updated version. The save is from before the update came out tho.

Sounds silly but I had luck avoiding crashes on Windows by pressing select to skip the non playable part.

I know is offtopic, but I want to ask if it's possible to get the european versions of psn eboot of the games Resident Evil 2 and 3, and Crash Team Racing, since all of them have Spanish as language options.
