How do you organize your game screenshot collection?
What is your oldest game photo?
Post other thoughts about photos of game screens to commemorate an achievement.

i apparently don't organize them well they are just in a folder called GAME SCREENS.
This is my oldest pic in that folder:

If you need to ask what it is from you prolly aren't old enough for it to matter ;)

Using an emulator like Bizhawk, PPSSPP, PCSX2, Duckstation and Dolphin, most of them are automatically in their own document folders where I can see them like this

I remember using a disposable camera to capture a Nintendo 64 game screen.

The cheap plastic camera body didn't have an option to turn the flash off so I think I put my thumb over the flash to block the light. The room had to be dark so reflections would not show on the glass CRT TV screen.

Then I had to develop the film for the camera to find out that the thumb covered flash created a red effect on the developed photo.
I could see the low poly grey texture of "naked" Samus from Super Smash Bros. that day.

Never taken a photo of a video game on the screen. Once I finish one game, I start another and maybe, after some time, I play the first one again (now already forgotten). Why do it? What is it for?
I'm reminded of those tourists who spend their time taking photos here and there, and don't really and directly enjoy the view first hand. ? ?‍♂️

I don't do screenshots constantly, but when i do is to hold a important moment in the game for me. For example, i always take a screenshot of the ending screen after i beat a game, it's like a trophy for me.

I've lost most of my older screenshots but now I just upload them to steam.

I've never really screenshotted any games I've played other than it being by complete accident.

i rarely take screenshots nowadays because i don't know what to do with them. I already deleted most of them, but for the rest i put all of them in one folder.

I have quite a few screenshots that didn't make the cut into whatever article I was writing or I had to cut out from an article to meet the character limit. I should probably organize them, considering they are entirely nonsense names with no organization currently as I want to keep some of them at least.
I've gotten pretty good at hitting the menu button in Retroarch/PSCX2 at the perfect time to get a screenshot, but a lot of my collection is me trying to take rapid fire shots to get just the perfect moment of whatever.

I never take screenshots not for any reason I just don't but I accidentally do it a lot.

This is the reason i take screens too, something I don't want to forget.

Why don't you turn off widescreen option in your NetherSX2?? Stretched Kingdom Hearts look awful, my eyes feel pain even from one look at screenshots? How do you play with it...?
Post automatically merged:
Lol without it the screen gets too small. It might look stretched on the screenshot but it looks pretty good when you're playing it.

Dunno, I never use widescreen in NetherSX2? Even with stretching fixing patches? Too narrow for me, my eyes really pains after it?
I use a wide-screen patch that looks pretty natural in game. It's good specially with cutscenes.

In Steam your screenshots can be saved to a gallery, so I often take screenshots to add to my gallery.
Here are some from games I played this year.

I think the first game screenshot I actually took was of Energy Breaker for SNES. Before that I never really thought about doing it for some reason. I generally just take screenshots of stuff I find amusing or cool.

I love Cave Noire's game over screen. Which is a good thing because you will see it a lot.

I saw this sunset on Echo Night. It's really pretty.

The people always waiting in line in Illusion of Gaia has always weirded me out. They just get right back in line after they exit the shop.

This all on android if you believe. This is Sky children of light if anyone wants to know, pretty cool game.
