Thanks to the PCSX2 Emulator I gave a 2nd chance to many PS2 games that I never played at that time and also those that I once played and also that the PS2 Emulator has evolved quite a bit throughout development and today the PCSX2 is still a great option to emulate your favorite PS2 games.

PCSX2 has been my go-to for years as it works great on my laptop and the saves can be copied over to a MemCard 2 Pro to play on an acutal console.

I can't believe what they've done with those emulators. The upscaling tech is getting really good and you can basically remaster games yourself with PCSX2 and Dolphin if you mess with stuff enough. Xenosaga 3 and Rogue Galaxy can look insane if you mess with them enough.

newer versions just work and they added the duckstation UI. its for my favorite console and i can't think of a better emulator.

I think I lean more towards liking emulators for systems I missed out on. The PSP in particular. I did spend a good bit of time with the PS2 emulator a few years ago. It was great to go back and catch up on the older Disaster Report games!

By far my favorite emulator, how about you all ?

Yeah, maybe. It's definitely up there. Been loving it since the first time I tried it. I'd say it's either PCSX2 or probably PPSSPP. With Duckstation a really close 3rd. Although Dolphin is growing on me, since I'm loving PSO on it.

This emulator is running the Ultimate Spiderman game with freezing and FPS loss. I can't figure out why.(GTX 1650-GTX1650Ti and RTX 3050 all of them have that prob.)

It's a hard tie between PPSSPP and PCSX2, but it's definitely up there. Honestly flycast is another high-tier one that makes it hard to choose a proper favorite emulator.

I think the overall simplicity makes me prefer PPSSPP over PCSX2. It's not too difficult, but I find PCSX2 takes a bit more admin to get going. Both are pretty good though!

It's definately my favorite PS2 emulator. I need it for Gradius V since sony delisted it with their online store.
