Changing the renderer to software fixes the issue but it looks ass as there is no nearest neighbor scaling. I assumed it was anisotropic filtering as it can mess up 2d sprites but that is not the case. Anyone know which option could be causing this?

2D Fighting games have those problems on pcsx2. Samurai Shodown 5 is WORSE. So bad i didnt take pics of it to post in the pics section. Even software rendering is bad.

@DunkeyKong was on the right track but didn't go all the way. When you tick that manual fixes box you need to go to one of the new tabs that show up.

Setting the round sprite option to half or full seems to do the trick though I can't say I've done any extensive testing.

Is PCSX2 the only method for you to play this? One has been released for the PC not too long ago, and it's way superior than the collection released back during the PS2/PSP days.

Yeah I just pick that photo from random PCSX2 forum lol

I see broken images sometimes in PCSX2, but i was trying a few options, including the offset for sprites which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

It's also very weird going 4x or something native, and then mpeg videos are dots of color surrounded by black... But native resolution (and sometimes 2x) it doesn't do that.

It's off sale for now and it also doesn't include 6(which isn't much of a loss to be honest but still sucks)

These games need to be played on neo geo. Superior and I'm sure a lot smaller in size. I use Mame to play all Samurai Spirits (Showdown). You should try and check it out.
