Download from Repo

If I'm to take a guess, maybe you uploaded the new version which shares the same name as the old file and then went and deleted the old file and it accidentally broke the new one, happened to me when I updated Roll chan Mega World.
I only set server to 1 cos the file on 10 didn't exist.

Fixed download sorry!

Might be best to reupload without the exclamation point, just to be sure. If the download proves unstable I'll do that.

I am getting a

File Doesn't Exist.

error

The English patched ROM on this repo page didn't work properly. When I tried playing it on mesen, the title screen was fine (with an occasional graphical hiccup), but the graphics were a garbled mess when starting the actual game. It was literally unplayable. My guess was that the patch was applied to a ROM with an incorrect CRC32.

So I took the English patch from romhacking.net and I applied it to a Japanese ROM with a different checksum. Sure enough, the game's graphics displayed properly and I was able to play the game with no issue. I then made a request on the forum for the english patched version of the game on this site to be replaced with the working copy I made.

I believe the error stemmed from incorrect CRC32 information for the game on romhacking.net. The site says you need a Japanese ROM with a CRC32 of D467C0CC, which is not the case. I know this because the online patcher has a feature that makes sure you're using the correct ROM, and the ROM I used that passed the checksum didn't match the ROM information shown on the site.

So yeah, we should have a properly functioning english patched ROM now. Enjoy the fun Karaoke segment that they removed from the European release!
Thank you.

What's the update?

Hi, just checked the ENG Translation, mmm is it normal for the rom to shows gibberish on game start (can't see the player), maybe needs repatched? Thank you

i own this nes game but never finished it

I could never finish this game; it always got stuck on the blowfish boss fight. Maybe it was the emulator I used.
