Not only a cartoon, but also the first one with a defined Finale episode, watching the intro flooded my with core memories, i remember they transmited it in National TV in a channel named Canal 22, you remember it? Oh, the man behind Duckman seemingly was behind the character designs,

THERE WAS A JUMANJI CARTOON?! I NEED TO SEEK OUT MORE INFO ABOUT THIS!
Not gonna lie, I never knew about this! And I loved the original movie! o.ó

Well I was also shocked how there is a cartoon of Back to the Future and little Rascal as well.

most wtf moment I'll ever live in this site (huge jumanji fan)

Yep. My big bro and I watched this to completion. It was one of the first plot heavy Western animated shows we saw with a definitive ending.

I remember watching this back during a marathon run in Cartoon Network, and by marathon I really mean it, they played chapters from this series non-stop for like 2 whole days.
Another series people don't really know there were cartoons of are Godzilla and Back to the Future. Men in Black is relatively well known due to how catchy the intro is.

WTF did this have limited airing?

I remember a lot of cartoons based on movies (MIB, Godzilla, Ghost Busters, Mortal Kombat, even Rambo had a cartoon) but I've never even heard of this which is funny since the original Jumanji was one those movies every kid had watched.

It aired mainly on Saturday mornings. ABC or Fox Kids, if I remember correctly. Reruns would show up early in the weekday mornings. In America, the show didn't have limited airings.

Godzilla and BTTF i don't knew neither, but i remember they showed the MIB series, they showed it fittingly enought past 6PM

I used to watch this almost every weekday morning as a kid. I think it was on every weekday morning... I wasn't a big fan, but it was on before other stuff I wanted to watch, so I'd sit through it. It did grow on me, but I can't remember a single plot point of any episode, which might tell you how much of an impact it made.::cirnoshrug

Recently found this too. I saw the first movie a few times on Cartoon Network but i have vague memories of it.

Jumanji is one of my favourite movies from my childhood but the animated show, I just couldn't get into, the voice acting was pretty annoying.

This just jolted memories lol I forgot all about it until this thread.
