Old/secondhand books

Back when i was living in another city, i often used to go to this book shop that used to sell old and secondhand books. They were cheap and me being a student got used at buying them, and hey, theres a ton of books that are out of print and you can only find them in secondhan bookstores.

My question for you is, do you have any old or secondhand books, and what do you think of them. I have a book from 1895, it's Moliere's Miser and Tartuffe, and i got it quite cheap, maybe for like 5 dollars?
That's how i caught up with Dragonlance. Got them about a decade ago at Half Priced Books. They were all under a dollar each. :D There's like 40 books in the series!

5 rooms in my house are libraries, wouldn't be like that if i didn't get them for reasonable prices... I also hold onto stuff from the public archives to keep them safe, since i have contacts there and there is a lot of backroom things that happen, so some records need to be protected.

Last week, i won an auction for an old set of old Goosebumps books and it worked out less than $3 per book! the covers are super nostalgic to me XD

VERY nice! I've got a few Goosebumps books myself (had more, but gave them away and kept the ones that meant something to me). My favorite has and always will be Attack Of The Mutant, probably because of how comic book obsessed I was as a kid (and still kind of am as an adult)

The Goosebumps TV adaptation was a bit of a mixed bag, but the dramatized audio cassette was great though

haha thats a cool one!
yeah i was never a fan of the TV show especially after reading the books, your imagination is so much better than anything on TV! the audio cassettes would have been just as good as the books though XD

my favorite book is probably Night in Werewolf Woods (mainly because of the cover)
its one of those "choose your own ending" books though

The "Give Yourself Goosebumps" were certainly neat. I remember borrowing "Scream Of The Evil Genie" from my school's library and actually getting rather scared by some of the endings
