I do not want to reinstall 100's of games for the 4th time on the Polymega. Are there any Polymega users that have a 512 gb micro sd card with 32x, Genesis, Sega Cd, Playstation, Snes, PC Engine Cd and Neo Geo Cd? I bought the Polymega new manufacturer direct and it has been repaired twice. I just got it back and it wont recognize the micro sd card with hundreds of games on it that it did before it broke. I think it corrupted the files on the sd card when it was bugging out before I sent to get fixed.

It won't also read the usb sticks that had some of the stuff backed up.

If you have a linux machine, you might see if you can mount it read-only, or see if the FS can be repaired.

If it is borked... hmmm... be annoying...

Back in 2004 a memory card for my camera got erased accidentally. So my ex gave it to me, i made a raw copy and kept it on the side. Then stumbled on a tool that would restore images and files. I'm not sure this would manage that, but it's possible. But that was 15 years ago since i thought about that tool, and i don't even remember how i found it or what it was called.

No Linux, I wish I never bought the Polymega. I installed a tiny amount of disc based games on the internal memory and the rest will be cartridges. I definitely not reinstalling a bunch of games on either micro sd nor usb sticks for the 3rd time. I will have to do it over in the future on a sdd.

Back in the day people thought the base unit was too expensive at $400.00 Last May the cheapest was like $560.00 and that was manufactured direct. Despite the recent update it is still heavy flawed system. I like the cheap Retron 5 is much better gaming experience.

Hey bud, sorry to hear that happened. I've been rooked into buying crap hardware before and I know it sucks.
You're probably better off finding Poly Mega communities, if they exist, or liaising with their support (for whatever good that does you). But hopefully it's a good lesson learned for the future.
Does this mean you've also lost all your save files as well? That would really suck.
