this game, i could NEVER get that song out of my head since i played it
I just RECENTLY found out where that games music comes from, Journey to Silius from NES
but damn so many old and good flash games idk where to start

Gemcraft series, it was tower defense but combining gems together to make better gems for the towers, it had a couple games too and it was the best tower defense i've ever played to this day.

learn to fly series, launch that penguin to space! or just across the world, 3 games
in the same style there was hedgehog launcher, turtle launcher, kitty cannon, burrito bison

Sonny, a flash RPG about you playing a zombie!, there was 2, and it was decent good!
they remade sonny 1 on Steam but uh... i didn't like it over the original (too many game changes)

valthirian arc, top down action game, you raised a school of students and took on missions and the school would upgrade, and the students could graduate and you get new students and the process repeats, it was remade on PC very nicely, but valthirian arc 2 did not get a remake.

Raiden X, it's basically a flash version of the classic shootemups Raiden, it's really well done! purple bendy beams and all!

then there's some of my favorite RPG games that even rival TOP console RPGS
Epic battle fantasy, 1 and 2 are tiny games with just battles in a marathon till the end.
Epic battle fantasy 3 4 and 5 can ABSOLUTELY rival final fantasy, dragon quest, and dare i say chrono trigger!? epic battle fantasy 5 might be one of the best RPGs i've ever played period, and its a free flash game! (unless you want the deluxe stuff or the PC version with better quality and etc)
highly HIGHLY recommend those games, 3 and after especially, if you're a serious JRPG fan you must play them! (all are on steam, 3 4 5 individually, and 1 and 2 are in the epic battle collection which has a few other games too)

look up the elephant collection on steam, it's chock full of secrets and random things.
This is the Only Level 1, 2, and 3
Achievement Unlocked 1, 2, and 3
Elephant Quest
Obey! the Game: Run, Elephant, Run,
Elephant Rave

some other games just to make a quick list
fancy pants adventure
alien hominid (they remade this for pc, consoles)
no time to explain! (remade on consoles very much bigger)
castle crashers (also got a newer game)
Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe (phew) flash rhythm game, if you like that, check out crazy rhythm castle on PC/consoles, it's by the same devs

I used to play those stick death games on whatever site that was like forever ago.

There's an uncountable amount of horror games I played on Flash, mostly leaning on point and click. I remember Grethel and Hansel 1 and 2 (I wish the developer made it to part 3), Misadventure (horror version of Atari 2600's Adventure) and Don't Escape series (I loved the Werewolf one)

There was also this old website, it was owned and created by one person (I think), it had several hidden objects flash games that looked like it was made from old photos, a number of a series of episodic point and click games that tell a story. I remember he had (I think) this point and click where you need to find a vampire in a small village...all of his creations were real classy and I can't remember for the life of me remember the name of the website or his games. It was such an amazing site, I would go there from time to time when I couldn't find anything to do. (His games were also difficult, except for the vampire one I could never finish his games)

I also used to hang out in the website of the now defunct Carmel games. They released Point and click games regularly for free and quite prolific about it. The fans could ask the developers for a sequel of their favorite games or make one regarding certain scenarios and topics. The developers were quite friendly with the fans and often replied to them or acceded to their requests. Their games were very simple, cartoony and relaxingly easy. Hanging out there was like subscribing to a comic book except it was games...and it was free. You can see most of their old point and clicks in mousecity.com

a man in a military uniform and tie is standing in front of a window with his hand in the air .

A TOAST...for the cherished memories we made playing in the era of flash, the internet as we knew, was a place for all gamers to know the power of what flash could make, Max games, Miniclip, Newgrounds (Old), Stick page, the Old Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Websites that made games plus the videos and movies that were made in those times.

May you never be forgotten as time itself.
