Wouldn't it make more sense for bisexuality to be the baseline against which the rest of the sexual orientations are othered? I mean the bisexual can appreciate what's desirable about both sexes and as such are a less incomplete representation of human attraction and sexuality than the heterosexual. They're also suitable partners for heterosexual and homosexual persons alike as well as each other, effectively serving as the AB blood type of sexual orientations.
