Golondrina, manga about a girl becoming a luchador after being taken under an apprenticeship when she tried to commit suicide. Sadly an unfinished translation : (

I guess it's a manga to look into at some point. The only other ones with office workers that I know of are the first three that I mentioned on post #1, (the first three pictures, that is) and My Senpai is Annoying.

The other smoking manga I know of is Tobacco-chan.

Opps, also Ikemen Onna to Hakoiri Musume or Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl if girls' love/yuri is something you're into.

For office worker manga I've got a few.
I'm sure people know the first manga, but the others should be a little more obscure

-Ichi The Killer.
-My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness
For My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness I also recommend reading the various sequel manga. For the longest time I thought there was only My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness and My Solo Exchange Diary, but the author Nagata Kabi has done a few other sequel manga

I would guess that Atto, the creator of Non Non Biyori's other manga called Koakuma Meringue (The Pretty Little Devil Meringue) is obscure.

Listing personal tastes for credos online isn't in my blood anymore, but I can still rep out for things I like under the pretense of having fun in the forums!

Dowman Sayman's church and chapel to my heart. While his artistic endeavors venture more towards erogenous doujinshi, the storylines herald plenty chunni dramatic sensibilities with straight-laced deliverance despite. Somber territories are never too low. Same goes for playful teases that stretch the line of reason! He's got a knack for really pulling you around and sharing the fun with you. The example manga provided's nothing unsightly. Gives a good example of his scope.

Yamakawa Naoto has an unique eastern-european-bloc carnicature based style that never falters behind his ability with ink. The carnivorous diet he has for european librarian yore never gets shaken off either: there's no panel without reference to some great work he pays great respect to. Simplistic shapes with thick-set line work works well to contain how deep in the earth his comics end up being. Wrinkles of loam settle beneath your feet; grass blood trickle to your sinuses. No wonder the guy's loves coffee. Any jigsaw of meaning fits perfect to the taste.

Stuff I'm not about to drunkenly ramble on about right now, but still would like to pass on as phenomenal:
Useless Ponko! Naturalism down to the offal of syllables in every character's word. Unassuming fluffy art never breaches comfort, even in the ebb towards drama.
Nishijima Daisuke! Most known for that one doujin about if the Corona Virus wiped everyone out, his manga relative to the Vietnam War is downright captivating in spite of his childish artstyle.

There's more to say, but that's all fine and well for now. Hopefully posting links to the manga I recommend's fine instead of posting images (don't want it to take up so much screen space...)

Is juden chan obscure? It was popular enough to get an anime adaptation at least.

Wings of vendemiaire is an acquired taste. It suffers from the same problems that all of Kitoh's work does; he has too many ideas and is unable to implement them fully. It's understandable that this one didn't get the attention that narutaru and bokurano got.

I don't know of either mangas, but were they good to read?

It depends on what kind of story you're looking for.

Juden chan is a relatively upbeat story about a girl (that is also an electrical plug) charging depressed people with positive energy. The miniseries is worth a watch in my opinion.

Wings of vendemiaire is an anthology series that explores human nature through six stories about the titular vendemiaire dolls. Due to it being a Mohiro Kitoh manga not many happy things happen.

Alright, thank you for explaining a bit about both mangas.

Loved that one~! From what I remember of it...
The undersold creepy premise does wonders for the up-and-ante on cuteness, contoured by the bubbly anatomical style. The creative excuse to forego words from the ghost goes well appreciated in my eyes. Confident is the hand of the author in that venture: there was never a time where creative solutions for communication got old as a plot thread. Even when the tools at their arsenal are only but common-shtick - the duo-straight man gag routine. Goes to show complaints of cliches balk in the face of assured performance.

Check: you can't go wrong with gyaru. Call: you can't go wrong with cute long-haired ghost girls. The show of hands? A daisy of pure goddamn sugar.

Thanks for the reminder to check back in with it!

EDIT: Oh yeah, the sleep-deprived running gag with the gyaru was a good excuse to flex the style. No better way to transmogrify art like that towards "horror" than by shape-meld apparition photos popular around the Japanese side of things. Not like it caused any heebie-jeebies or anything (not that weak-willed!), just that it was a great way of subverting expectations. All while keeping to the core of approach for the series.

Was this all a reply to me?

Yeah! The Ghost Behind the Gal!

Sorry, forgot to reply to it. Think I tried snipping the image and went too far. Good taste in slice of life!
It's alright, as I thought it was a reply to me even though it wasn't quoted to me and if you like gal manga, then Gyaru to Kyouryuu or Gal & Dino/My Roomie Is A Dino might be something you'll like reading.

To be honest, I still have a lot more obscure manga I want to share, but for now I'll share these two so as not to flood the replies. Looking back at my Anilist, I'm surprised I read a lot more manga than I've watched anime. I've always liked reading manga more as I can quickly binge-read it; guess that's how I got to read a lot of obscure manga and stuff.
