Much like my Obscure Anime forum, I'd like to make one about any obscure mangas out there or mangas that may be obscure. I'll be adding ones that I would guess may be obscure, since I honestly don't know if they really are or not.

Curious, so I'm asking: what's the basis for "obscure" in this case? I mean, if I go "Ciguatera" to every human I personally know, I know two people who might know it. But it was published in multiple countries, and just isn't the kind of thing that's going to be on the level of a DBZ or whatever.

Almost all anime had a manga first... So i'll put Polar Bear Cafe... Absolutely LOVE this series.

This is a comedy manga about two boys with free time after school who just sit on a bunch of stairs, talk, and watch people go by.

This manga is hilarious and an absolute trip. It’s written by the same guy who wrote ODD TAXI, and it shows—seemingly random characters return, events get recontextualized, and the ending ties everything together beautifully. It’s only eight volumes, and they fly by. READ IT!!

Note: There’s also a live-action adaptation, but I’ve never watched it.

youd probably like the drama its pretty faithful. keeps the same laid back atmosphere and dry humor, they dont make any big changes to make it "feel more like a movie" so they still hang out in that same spot throughout most of it and all. overall its an alright adaptation

Did you know that Etrian Odyssey 2 and 3 have their own manga?
...Well I did, for years. EO2's got fan translated a while ago, EO3's going through the process of scanning and there's another EO3 manga that may be lost media altogether. I say "may" because said manga has a page on Japanese Amazon but I'm too broke and lazy to see whether or not it's the real deal

It's definitely one of the strangest manga I've read.

Story about a Bunch of Ogres who want to live a peaceful life, tho people think they Are evil vile and such. they find a young girl and basiclly adopt her, tho they where going to eat her. ect ect its a rather funny wholesome manga.

It's a slice of life comedy manga about the same of the any slice of life but I like it and it's fun and nice

I guess it's a manga to look into at some point. The only other ones with office workers that I know of are the first three that I mentioned on post #1, (the first three pictures, that is) and My Senpai is Annoying.

The other smoking manga I know of is Tobacco-chan.

Opps, also Ikemen Onna to Hakoiri Musume or Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl if girls' love/yuri is something you're into.
