Now that the PSVita store will be dead we need more backups on The Repo?

Im not sure how this works, i assume will be the same as when the 3DS store shutted down but we dont have a big backup for vita games, i think i will start to make my own back up, what do you guys think?

The PSVita has a library within the system if you download the pkg app if i remember correctly. They DONT however have modded versions like the ones on the repo that fixes localization or fan translations.

i get my backups from the desktop app NoPayStation i think its the same source as PKGJ but not sure if with the shutdown the games will be unavaliable

Will have to wait a see, its still 2 months away, but I would also like to know the fate of them.

I don't think the repo has a definitive back-up of most things. There are holes here and there. I am concerned about the archival though. I might have to invest in another raid-z array and back them up.

external drives are expensive as f right now, i might invest in one tho, for a full blown vita backup, i alredy have a backup for my favorite homebrew ports and some games

Really? I thought it was shutdown several years ago? But then again I haven't used the PSN app on my Vita in like 8 years. I have the PKGj app on mine and yeah it uses the same sources as NoPayStation.

It wouldn't be life or death to have them be on the repo. There's other websites that have the entire library backed up (don't ask me for urls tho, but I know they exist)

I haven't gotten my Vita to get online in over a year. For some reason it just won't connect to my access point anymore

def save tales of hearts R that's about the only exclusive i cared for and the only reason i even have a vita emu for.
and chaos rings 0, 1,2,3 are on Vita (english patch versions exist), it's kinda hard to play all 4 of those, my latest android phone only plays 3 and not the rest.
Chaos rings 3 is a game i highly recommend, if you like persona 3-5 the games pretty damn close to it with the "hero cards" and fusions.
there's #3 on repo here, it all runs on Vita3k also!

Sony tried to kill both its shop and the PS3’s in 2021 but it was met with backlash. I guess nowadays Sony is getting ballsier which is why they’re trying again
