Hi all,

Yes, I know there's a help file, yes I am aware of the existence of Google, but for some reason (I think I am searching for the wrong terms) I am not finding easy questions to these answers.

1. How do you turn off the console overlays on pretty much everything that isn't a PlayStation emulator (I'm guessing this is a retroarch issue) - specifically, Snes, N64, Genesis/megadrive, PC Engine

2. Is wide-screen possible on those same emulators, and what is the button combo to do it?

3. Is the Jaguar emulator generally known to be a pile of pants, or have i just downloaded some bad roms? It seems to regularly render games with broken or incomplete assets rendering them pretty much unplayable.

1.)Gotta go into RA itself, and turn them off. It's in the overlay option, scroll to it, and pressing start on the overlay would reset, and erase it. Once you've done that, you gotta save the core as, and save the configuration file. RA is going to be tough for alot of folks, and the best way to get better at it, is to experience it yourself, go through the trial and error, and learn from it, rather than following directions someone wrote.

2.)Yes, once again in RA, and you change the core provided to 16:9 in the video section

3.)Jaguar emulator is mostly good. There are some select games that won't run well though. The Jaguar CD emulator I think is locked behind a paywall.

Thanks, I had had a look in the display options and couldn't see an obvious option, but not the Core options. Will have a play, and likely break some things along the way!

Asking about rhe button combos as there is one for Duckstation and PCSX2 to change the aspect ratio.

I would say on the Jag emulator I have had about a 50/50 hit rate on games rendering properly or not, so am thinking I may have just got a bad romset.
