I don't know if you'd exactly call this "hair metal" but I'll be damned if Yngwie Malmsteen doesn't deserve a seat at the non-american guitar legends of the 80's!

Japan is the only nation that truly embraced the silliness of hair metal and I do believe that we have a visual kei thread out there somewhere but there are a few outliers I can provide.
