Wrong
Their biggest mistake was sending out C&D's left and right instead of simply trying to hire the developers, computer programmers and ROM as well as ROMhack designers to work for them and create better products

That's just Nintendo being evil
I like how SEGA handles Sonic and is ok with Sonic fangames being made as long as they're not for profit. Nintendo's excuse is always that it would de-value their IPs, but it won't.

Not me; I hate it.
Sonic & Knuckles was the last game I truly enjoyed of the entire franchise, and don't think I haven't tried!
Knuckles Chaotix came close, but I don't think anybody actually liked the rubber-banding effect.
Every year Sonic has to get 'edgier' and 'cooler' and drifts farther from the original, basic good guy identity of his former self. A sad thing to see happen to any character, but in his case, it has become synonymous with any fictional character being a tryhard and total chad.

There are Sonic fangames I really love
Sonic RobotBlast 2 is a masterpiece IMO
Sonic and the Fallen Star, while linear and short is one of my absolute favorite sonic games of all time
Then we have the downright incredible Sonic Triple Trouble 16bit remake which takes Triple Trouble, improves it, makes it 16bit and then improves it some more, it's amazing.
Finally, the first Sonic Overture demo, with the incredible music.
Sonic Saturn isn't bad either but it's too hard for me
All these games are wonderful, legit Sonic games
The Before and After the Sequel are pretty good good too
There's also a 3D Sonic fangame if you have Dreams on PS4/PS5 but I haven't played it, just seen footage of it and it looks great.
It's just for my videos, I have very poor eyesight so playing in lighting like this is actually painful for me, but I've been playing stuff like this for a whole year because I also record videos.
It depends what I'm recording tho
Famicom is vibrant like this
Famiclones have a more subtle, "eastern european" vibe

If you want my opinion, you have a great collection. One day I want to make a collection of Nintendo Wii games; it's my favorite console. I hope you can achieve your dreams on YouTube. I also have a YouTube channel.
Famicom carts are gorgeous and super fun to collect, though I assume the reason they ditched colored carts (aside from the oddball limited edition stuff) had to do with consistency against bootleg carts. Obviously it's not a fail-safe, bootleg carts can and will use gray carts too lol, so idk.
While I love the colored Famicom cartridges (and have many of my own!) they would almost certainly trigger OCD and crippling anxiety in some gamers.
"Do I sort them by color, or by title?"
"AHHHHH, THEY AREN'T UNIFORM AND DON'T MATCH!!"
And so on. I'm not saying this to joke around or make light of anyone's mental state, I'm just stating it based on my own experiences and conversations I've had with other collectors. Many of us were perfectly happy with the uniform, gray cartridges we grew up with, and as cool as the colored ones are (in my opinion, at least!) they may be a nightmare to sort / display for others.

But this topic isn't about my channel...again I jsut use photos from videos so i dont take new ones it comes off as if im advertising in every topic sorry
i just want to share pretty picutres of gaming

yes
They clearly don't want me on GameFAQs anymore, they don't want me on LL either
so let's see how long I last here.
why? it looks gorgeous and you don't always have to arrange them in a rainbow pattern
combining the pink, yellow and cyan carts with some whites is also very beautiful
orange, purple and greens
red and black
there are many ways to combine them it's amazing
I don't have them up on a shelf, they'd just get discolored but there are so many ways to combine colored carts it just never ends
Of course the way the comapny is would be total crap, it's a corporation and I hate them all.
Just seeing what they did to the Sonic Mania/Origins developers is enough to make me feel sick.
They WANTED Origins to be good, but SEGA's management stepped in and purposely rushed and ruined what could have been as amazing as Sonic Jam and better even. Then they wouldn't even let them patch it correctly.

This is the narrative I remember too, yet in recent years the narrative shifted that Nintendo wanted to make the NES look more like a toy than a video game and people keep regurgirating that over and over, even big youtubers.
I distinctively remember that they changed the design so that they appear less like video game/toys and more like VHS tapes, they even designed the NES so you insert the game inside like a VHS tape.
