I bought the Nintendo Switch 2 because it has a larger screen and you can get 4K resolution when playing in TV mode.
But I haven't seen any difference when I connect it to the TV using the docking station.
So I'm going to sell it to buy a Nintendo Switch Oled, so I have a little question regarding upcoming games.
Can you play Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and Pokémon Legends Z-A on Nintendo Switch OLED?

That's great and did you get them at a good price?

Switch 2 is barely better than previous-gen consoles anyway. Buy a PC and enjoy better quality!!! lol
There's no Donkey Kong Bananza on it.

Also I'd argue that for a decent gaming PC you'll have to get at least an around 800 - 1000 bucks rig to be able to run most current year games.

Sorry, you've been cheated by Nintendo. Switch 2 GPU can output to 2160p but games are not going to run 2160p. Not even on desktop consoles games run 2160p.

Now, you're going to get a few games running 1440p and most running around 1080p dynamical upscaled. There will be some games that will run under 1080p, the more old the console is the more games will be.

Thus, I understand your feeling, you can't even have OLED screen now, but don't take it personal, it's marketing business from Nintendo, in a couple of years you will have a new Switch 2 with OLED screen because they want to sell you the console 2 times. That's their motto.

Regarding the topic, yeah, Trails 1st is supposed to perform good but there will be hiccups here and there. Your best bet is to overclock the Switch and play it comfortable without slowdowns :)

Well, it depends on how you want to run them. Getting a RX5700XT for 100€ is the way to go if you want to enjoy current games at 1080p high-very high settings. The rest of the computer can be 300€ tops, so you get a relatively decent gaming PC for 400€ or a little less.

People spending 1000€ in a PC for playing is nonsense, at least in my opinion, because the GPU business is just wrong.

After all Nintendo is a small indie company so their consoles never could keep up with new generation consoles, they scam and sue to make money and it's their company song lolol:

A console's raw power has become less relevant over the epochs to be honest. The Wii had a bigger gap with the PS3 but that doesn't prevent games to be good.

Yeah, I totally agree, but nowadays company consoles have forgotten that. Otherwise we would have more consoles like Series S, and Switch 2 would have been just a 1080p console with a starting price of 300€.

Wii and Wii U were desktop consoles, and they were weaker. One got the stuff right, the other didn't.

Switch was also a weakling the same day it was released but it was a different story, it was a portable device.

But what happened to Series S? everyone complained. Everyone who is into the PC masterrace cancer. Even companies who do not know how to optimise their stuff complained, because they were forced to do so. But in my opinion Series S is the best desktop console of this generation, not because the games or the lack of physical media, but hardware wise. It's compact, relatively small, low power consumption and powerful enough to show decent stuff on screen and make you feel you're playing modern games. Even the price is alright.

What do you mean?? u can't get a pc for 450 bucks that runs everything??? Internet lied to me

But, if you got Switch 2 I would not sell it right away; maybe in the next months some exclusive title will come out and if you will want to play it you will be able to. At least, that what I would do since it's a new (and not cheap!) console, unless you really can't live without OLED!
