This picture gives me goosebumps. Team Ninja and Platinum Games make a sequel that is shaping up to be something very special !! https://kotaku.com/ninja-gaiden-4-hands-on-hitstop-difficulty-game-pass-2000623220

No cutting simulation just like Metal Gear Rising = no care, or they should make a parody of Ninja Gaiden that our main guy asks "Who are you?" to anything way more than the NES games lolol.

Oh my God is that blood on screen?! This give me GOOSEBUMPS doods!
Seriously that quote from article? im not clicking on those kotaku links, but it sound so fake and lame, perfect for game journalist i guess
There was never blood in NJ games before!

They are just a k + "otaku" so who really cares about what otakus think? lol

However this is 4th game of the NJ reboot games, not a continuation of the NES games but reboot games always had blood, so the topic becomes a philosophical topic of if we should even consider reboot series a real Ninja Gaiden games or not lolol. So in real NJ games there was no blood which you are right, but gore is "point" of fake NJ games.

Yeah i know i was just being ironic there
I actually really like "reboot" NJ games, and i like Itagaki in general
Love how after game testers complained that NJ is very hard, what did he do? He make NJ even harder, what an absolute chad, that what i call good game desgin.

Meanwhile in modern games, if game testers lost for 5 mins devs in panic add yellow paints and markers to show people where to go
God forbid people get lost for 30 seconds and look at environment and try to figure out where to go next.

I need a scene that goes exactly like this:
"Who are you?"
"I'm just a ninja. I have no name."
"I'll call you Ninja Guy, then."

Yes, I played along with your irony with my sense of humor regarding how reboot NJ games are a rubbish fake NJ games which I think this series would have been better if it had a different name instead lol. Using already established brand name is one thing, but going for developing a very different game but then using the same name doesn't make sense to me. Didn't like NJ games on NES so ignored the fake NJ games too until I randomly learned reboot NJ games actually have a fun gameplay for I was expecting 3D modern version of our guy keeps asking "What was that?", "Who are you?" et cetera question as how most of the cutscenes of NES NJ games are lolol.

Yeah lol. However most people are idiot and AAA games developed for most people to play which is why society prefers AAA games. If game is unplayable for most people then naturally it won't sell well so it's a business suicide or make it intentionally "hard" or it will be another brain dead game that's not hard but it's just hard for Minecraft generation that even call Dark Souls games hard when in reality it's not hard but the games initially require grinding EXP which is a bad video game design in my book.

Or a game can be developed in "not hard" way by using indirect video game direction and pattern learning. For example one of the most common example is Half Life 2 using lights to show players where to go, also in games where enemies are coming from gives a sense of "it's where I should go too". So despite society is a bunch of idiots the actual problem is because of brain-dead developers and the AAA industry's intention to create standard formulas for every game so they can guarantee profit by making games have standard stuff that shared between games no matter what company develops the AAA game. For example that's why Watch Dogs 1, Sleeping Dogs and CyberJunk 2077 are like same shit in different skin that their difference are in obvious aspect of their gameplay.

We living in an era that last few generations got used to rely on computer technologies to navigate their way around the city where they live in, so naturally games kinda have Google Maps aids anymore because they have no activated neurons for direction detection and mental mapping lol. It does mean human devolution and deterioration in mental capabilities which actually devolution is way faster than evolution. Perhaps for humans critical thinking ability took a few millions of evolution despite intense condition of survival but they lost this ability in few generations. Now people grow up and become an adult but cannot even read a text that's more than 2 lines and these self-entitled rubbish people blame you for they are an idiot never to realize they are abnormal but they love to wanna normalize their idiocy and mental illness. That's exactly why this became problem of new AAA games that the game almost plays itself, simple gameplay and tons of cutscenes that attracts these idiots. Idiot games for idiots lol. Back then you had to leave your childhood behind when you were like around 12 and start your adult life around 15 but despite being a kid means biologically not being developed yet which naturally cannot expect much from a kid, but still people around 20 are like granmas in their 80 who suffer from dementia, alzheimer and whatnot due to they don't use their brain much but instead they use their smartphone all the time therefore they behave and think like a 6 years old kid lol. So do you think majority of current society can handle a game that has no obvious guidance to players and current video game developers can use more than 1 neuron to figure out proper gameplay that doesn't use red lines and arrows around? lolol

Definitely a buy for me since I love both Platinum and Team Ninja. It sounds like 50% plays like a Platinum game and 50% plays like a Team Ninja game with the two characters.

Return of the GOAT, baby! There's still nothing that plays quite as smooth as NG1 and 2 (and RE's alright, I guess) Can't wait to hook this straight into my veins!

Platinum gameplay is good but I can do without the score/ranking systems.
I've been keeping myself (mostly) spoiler free about this game & actually didn't know they brought in a ranking system. But now that I think about it NG3 did kinda have that... so I suppose it's nothing new.

I just hope it's nothing too strict & still based around score. Getting hit in the NGs is normal & perfectly fine since you mostly get graded on performance, I just hope there's like no "no-hit" requirements or something.

I know nothing about this game, but every Platinum title I know of has a per-fight and overall mission ranking system that caps at platinum, and taking hits typically detracts.
