Ninja Gaiden 4 looks immaculate!

Errors were made, but I see no "disrespect" for Ryu in NG4. That title belongs with Ninja Gaiden 3, and parts of Razor's Edge. Especially on a character front. I love this game, flaws and all, but I love how Ryu plays, even though he's not given as much to work with.

Except that Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge gave Ryu his most powerfull combos and abilities ever in the series, and the story in that game is all about Ryu becoming more human.

On the other hand, ng4 tries to replace Ryu with a new protagonist that NOBODY wanted or cares about while also striping Ryu of most of his combos and abilities and weapons, leaving him with his pathetic ng3 set up; that where the disrespect is.

If you "love" how Ryu plays in a poor excuse of a game like ng4,
you will go crazy with everything he can do in Ninja Gaiden 2 ,sigma2 or 2 Black and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge.

I like Yakumo, and you assume too much. You don't like him nor wanted him, but I've already seen plenty of fans come for his support and Ryu's. Yes, Ryu's kit is technically better in the third game, but that took another game to fix it with an update, and going through tedious story and character, and bad/mediocre level design overall. I know I'll be playing the fourth game more than a third game, aside from the challenge modes.

I guess you didn't read beforehand but i've already played those. I already said II Black is my personal #1 favorite. I know he's more capable in those games, but I already mentioned the problems with Razor's Edge and all the fixes they had to do to make them even more checked viable. NG4 is my number #2. You can have whatever opinion you want, and I got mine. Not changing it for you.

I like Yakumo
Yakumo has no personality, there is nothing to "like" about him.

Most of those people never played the previous games, so their opinion is moot.

You and I definitely played a different version of ng4, because for me, the level design in ng4 is almost as bad as the level design in yaiba ninja gaiden z.

Yakumo does you just don't bother to pay attention or too wrapped up in the hate. Yakumo clearly clearly is about the mission. First kind of guy. But as a soft side underneath him he doesn't show often, because the way he's trained. Yakumo and Umi (shop girl with a penguin picture) are implied and outright stated to be longtime friends, and it shows what their interactions with each other, ach time a new story segment opens up or when you go to the shop. The man has some edginess to him, but it's more honest and earnest compared to somebody like Yaiba. Yakumo has some of the best lines or boast in the series. Love this guy. You ain't changing my mind.

I'm just gonna let you know on the rest of your response, I really don't care and made my points. You don't like 4, more power to you. I love it and don't regret any moment of playing this awesome. I don't do pointless back and forths. We're not getting anywhere else, otherwise, so the conversation is over. Can't wait to see what they have on offer for the dlc content.
