I used to have this game way back, around 1995, can't even remember where it came from. But I liked this one a lot, it was one of the few point and click style NES games, which i was a fan of having grown up with more of computer/DOS background. These were great for staying up late at night with, no hurries or anything. I remember there being some sort of a contest attached to this game too except i was a bit late for that.

As an Action-Adventure game, it's good because the gameplay is not bad for parts of a sidescroller, although it contains some interactive elements like talking to people and using some objects, obviously. Graphically, it's very nice because it has a good level of detail in the scenarios with a gothic look that gives the game a nice appearance, and musically it's decent and at least pleasant to listen to. Moreover, the folks at Beam Software made a game that was good but not excellent for the NES, at least.

In all seriousness though, this is one of the few Beam Software titles that are actually worth playing.
