I've been gaming since I could properly hold a controller - some of my earliest memories are my dad showing me how to shoot the Covenant in the original Halo: Combat Evolved and how to pilot the planes in Crimson Skies. I was an only child, so before I was old enough to invite the neighbourhood kids over to play games, my dad was my original Mario Kart Double Dash rival!
The sixth and seventh generations of consoles and handhelds are the ones i hold nearest and dearest to my heart since they're the ones i grew up with! I really love RPGs (especially CRPGs), farming games, and some visual novels as well!
Some of my favourite games and series are: Sonic (mostly the Dreamcast and Gamecube games), Pokemon (up to Ultra Sun/Moon), Harvest Moon (especially FoMT, DS, and AWL), Rune Factory, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Halo (haven't played past 4, though), the Sims 1 to 3, Skies of Arcadia, Baldur's Gate (all 3 of them!), Planescape: Torment, and Spore.
My other hobbies besides gaming include reading & writing (usually nonfiction), fooling around with html, enjoying the company of my dogs, bunny, and partner, and drinking way too much tea! i deleted pretty much all social media when i graduated high school about 10 years ago (oof), but I'm slowly getting back into forums and the oldweb/indieweb/web-revival scene and re-learning HTML and CSS after my Piczo and Xanga days.
