I've already: saw a cheap console in a flea market near me, read how to mod with soldering, given up on mod after reading, bought the console, bought FF13 and Eternal Sonata physical and cheap on ebay, played them, sold them and sold the console :D (these were the only games I really had my eyes on for a long time without never having a chance to play them before, so I'm happy with what I got)
Now I can watch the video just out of curiosity!
AFAIK the soft mod only works on early dashboard(yup confirmed, it's was patched on an update, so you need to downgrade) machines, so there's that. Nothing like the RGH with drive custom firmware, on this now retro system...
Not that I have a ton of 360 exclusives that I wanna mod a system for, but it is definitely my current holy grail in terms of desperately wanting it cracked. While I can just play multiplats on my modded PS3, having 360 emulation be so rough means that system modding is likely the only way I'll be able to meaningfully play a lot of those games in a way that resembles OG hardware.
Really hope a non-downgrade method gets found soon!
