It’s only cutscenes, but engine wise? Man, this actually does look worth $100.
This game looks actually insane
Rockstar is generally known for their polish and delaying the game by a full year gives me hope. If GTA 6 launches and its in a state like launch cyberpunk 2077 it would be a catastrophic PR disaster haha.Hope they use the year they have left to optimize the game and ensure it's no garbage dump like every other AAA game on release
its not releasing on pc so it's goodHope they use the year they have left to optimize the game and ensure it's no garbage dump like every other AAA game on release

Too bad I'm going to be dead in 2026 soon

Well the Most Overrated I don't know about that.but is quite overrated that is true. For me i liked Gta San Andreas and Vice City even somewhat like Gta 4 but I did not like Gta 5 that much its not bad but it was not really to my liking either.GTA is the most overrated game series
This game looks and feels unreal I cannot believe my eyes... Man imagine if Half Life 3... nah that'd never happen... right?
This game looks actually insane
GTA VII will release in like 2050 and yansim will still not be done.Silksong and GTA VI got release dates before Yandere Simulator, that’s rough buddy
I honestly I do not see the gameplay changing that much compared to the rest of the series, Rockstar has found a formula that works for most people and I don't think they are inclined to move away from that sadly. Gameplay talk aside I agree that GTA IV is really great, theres so much care and detail put into that game.Didn't care for V so I'm happy that this look a lot better. As someone who's been playing since GTA III launched, none of these games blow me away like they once did. While the graphics obviously improved, the structure has remain unchanged. And since everything's an open world game nowadays unlike back when GTA III launched, the novelty has worn off. That said, it'll still be a great open world action game. I enjoyed something like Sleeping Dogs a lot more than GTA V. It did melee combat a lot better.
GTA IV was the last GTA that I truly loved. Niko Bellic will probably never be topped as a GTA main character. Him and Tommy Vercetti are the best in franchise history.
Classic take... good game gets praised = someone says its overrated.GTA is the most overrated game series
On the other hand I'd still criticise how stagnant GTA has stayed over the years and how it's accepted as the messiah of gaming when its hayday was in the early to mid 00's, that the controversy boosted its popularity but nowadays Open Worlds and third person shooters made it less unique game design-wise.Classic take... good game gets praised = someone says its overrated.
Its not overrated, how i hate when people use that word for anything that is actually good.
They dont know that the word overrated means something that is actually bad and gets praised because reasons...
So i could say that the Resident Evil franchise is overrated, that Red Dead Redeption is overrated, that Street Fighter is overrated...
This is the same for about every title that is a blueprint for an entire genre, subgenre, gameplay style, etc. They don't need to reinventing the wheel, just do what they do the best. Like every Zelda, Mario or Soulsborne do.On the other hand I'd still criticise how stagnant GTA has stayed over the years and how it's accepted as the messiah of gaming when its hayday was in the early to mid 00's, that the controversy boosted its popularity but nowadays Open Worlds and third person shooters made it less unique game design-wise.
Maybe VI will get a new story but if the game design is still the same "free roam the city then get to talk to a NPC to engage a mission that you'll need to follow closely or else you'd get a mission over, rince and repeat" that wouldn't justify the high price tag. At least make something really novel that evolves an ageing formula.
I'd argue that Zelda needed to evolve because Skyward Sword has proven that the old OoT formula couldn't work for over 25 years. This is the same for about every title that is a blueprint for an entire genre, subgenre, gameplay style, etc. They don't need to reinventing the wheel, just do what they do the best. Can't really blame them about a ageing formula, I think it's more a problem with companies like Ubisoft, that make this type of game in a factory scale.
That said, I did played GTA V back in the day but it did nothing for me, so I was deflated of hype about the next installment. Now with this Bonny and Clyde concept of story I'm more interested, but not to pay rumoured 100 USD (even half of this, tbh).
