This is an exciting prospect: the idea that we can make games that we love run better on their original hardware broadens the appeal of retro gaming. It brings more people in to possibly play these games. I’ve seen these kinds of fps boost hacks on the N64 as well. Hopefully, this thing becomes a standard among all systems, where we’re getting these fan-made definitive editions that simply make the games run better.
I’ll always prefer the original releases, but I think these kinds of things are fun.
