Netflix has had quite a few bangers imo. My favorite show ever is Aggretsuko, and I'm kinda salty it's over, but stretching out a good thing too far makes it lame, so that's alright I guess.

I loved Castlevania when it first aired, and I really like it's sequel, Nocturne, as well. Really hoping it comes back, and also really hoping that if another show is made it focuses on Soma Cruz (since Alucard is in those games as well)

Devil May Cry kicked ass and I'm hyped for the next season.

Captain Laserhawk also kicked ass. I love Rayman and even though they turned him into a foul mouthed cokehead I want more of that show.

Haven't watched Tomb Raider but it's getting a 2nd season in December so I'll binge the whole thing then.

Going to binge Splinter Cell tonight which is why I decided to make this thread.

How do you feel about the Netflix animes?

I'm a big fan of Beastars, that anime has taken me down a dark furry-shaped path. It's not a perfect adaptation of the manga (they cut a lot of interesting worldbuilding out in the interest of time) but it's solid.

Aggretsuko is also really good, but I'm not a fan of season 5. Shikabane is such an interesting character and I would have loved to get to know more about her but she only showed up in 2-ish episodes.

I'm so ready for DMC season 2. Season 1 was awesome and it's cool to see they brought in the white rabbit from the DMC3 manga... kind of.

I haven't finished it yet but I'm really enjoying Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, David is a pretty cool protag.

I rather buy crack than give money to that company what black wash everything and think they are being the best. I hate saying this if you wanna watch anime legally that badly I say Crunchyroll even if I hate them because of past bullshit but apparently Sony owns them now.

I mostly buy anime´s on DVD/Blu-ray if they come out here will say. Last one I bought was By the grace of the gods. But when it comes to new anime well I go illegal streaming sites. I would use Legal sites if the companies where SCUM and criminals them self. If a new anime I love gets a physical release I always buy it which reminds me man I got a new list of anime´s I need to check out if they have any releases here in West.

I hate anything Adi Shankar touches. He doesnt get and care about the source material. Castlevania was trash, i heard DMC is trash too. Hopefully he loses his job

netflix turned 2 of my favorite comics(BLAME! and Dorohedoro) into shitty cartoons.
Dorohedoro deserved better. It's not bad (i watched the first season and then catched on the manga), but it doesn't grasp the style of the manga. The manga is a bloody ink mess and i love it.

Does Delicious in Dungeon count? I thought that one was absolutely phenomenal.

I think some people are misconstruing Netflix acquiring western/outside of Japan licensing of series with them funding production of these shows. Some of the examples I've seen in the thread are examples of this (Though I'll always agree with Dorohedoro anime hate lol. That manga deserved so much better).

I agree. I don't know where they wanted to go and I always felt like they changed the writing team midway.

Too bad it ended on a sour note and that they haven't featured the full cast at least once for the end (like Inui).

I loved Castlevania when it first aired
I appreciated Season 1 but Season 2 was underwhelming...

I am not a big fan of "Americanime" either.

Aggretsuko is the only good anime from the platform.
They just take good IP and make sht with them.

Will NEVER support Crunchy Roll, especially after Sony bought Funimation and just absorbed them into Crunchy Roll. I'd much rather illegally stream or straight up pirate. Most of the anime I like are older than dirt anyway

Yeah I would never support them either just saying if some one badly wanna do it legally then Crunchy is better option than Netflix and they got better selection.

They seem to be really hit-or-miss for me. Like I personally liked Kengan Ashura, Godzilla Singular Point, and Pluto.

Then we have Sword Gai: The Animation, which I thought was mid at best, but then it became just plain awful because I decided to read the manga and found out just how much they fucked it up. Like it wasn't even an adaption anymore it was that bad.
