Sprites looks like AI-generated but human editted lol but even if it is so the game looks cool but it would be pointless if the game is boring.
 
Liked the demo. It's kinda like Contra but mid stages sometimes switches to a more gallery shooter type mode.
 
Gives me Wild Gun vibes and Sin & Punishment with the projectiles being bounced back. Stylistically it vaguely reminds me of Huntdown.

Oh, Steel Assault. I remember just from the visuals alone I instantly bought the game. 2D action games like that really speak to me. But then I only played 58 minutes of the game and never touched it again. It was almost 3 years ago, I don't quite remember what it was exactly but I just did not like the game and judging from the only 'Mostly Positive' overall Steam score, other also didn't like it.
The demo convinced me tho so I have high hopes for Neon Inferno.

I've been waiting for this one. This is the only release I'm waiting for. I know everyone is saying Contra, Wild Guns, etc... Honestly, game play with foreground and background shooting, actually reminds me of Dick Tracy On the Sega Genesis, In a good way. I really liked the demo, and apricated the tone and setting.
 
I was excited for this one but refused a key on my channel, so it's now a "whenever it ends up in a bundle" game which is usually just months after a rejection these days,
 
I don't like this. The controls are unintuitive. The checkpoint placement sucks and there's far too much going on onscreen all the time to keep track off. The game is just a mess.

The very first midboss fight is cheap as fuck. You get boxed in by two enemies with nowhere onscreen to avoid getting hit.
