Nah not just the art style ,they look like a bunch of kids ,tbh murder mystery doesn't sound right with bunch of kids ngl

Saya No Uta is one of the most impactful VNs I've ever experienced, I really wish the devs were less horny and cut out the sex bits. The story is absolutely full of dread and it's a fantastic horror story, and could have had a much broader appeal.

I'm not really a fan of horror stories , the VNs that are like are more geared to lward mystery I want my brain to keep guessing and come up with stuff and gain the satisfaction of guessing right ,does this one have that ?

No, probably not - it gets more into true horror/mindfuck territory at times similar to some of the heavier moments of Virtue's Last Reward.

They're not VNs, but if you want mystery/puzzle games I just beat the following more modern games and was blown away:

The Roottrees are Dead
Lorelai and the Laser Eyes
The Case of the Golden Idol

And I'm going to start the sequel The Rise of the Golden Idol pretty soon.
