PS3 Need recommendations for a Good Alternative for a PS3 Controller or a good seller for the OG ones.

How about Xbox 360 controller, I've seen that it's pretty cheap. I also saw that some PS3 controller are quite cheap, like RM20+ ($4+) but that's just from my country's price

I think i have an Xbox 360 controller somewhere here around my house, maybe i tried that. thanks for the suggestion but i have unfortunately seen that here where i live is mostly fake clones of the original Dualshock 3.

are you looking for a wireless option only? i use the Logitech Gamepad F310 as a cheap solid corded option for everything that isn't my switch.
Otherwise I go with 8bitdo SN30 pro, not cheap but very nice and works with most things.

I’ve seen people able to use an adapter that lets them plug their DS1/DS2 into USB consoles
that would be really cool! because i have ps2 controllers on good conditions. I will look for them

I see, that's a bit unfortunate
By the way, there's also BSP controller (any version) that can connect to your phone and PC, with Bluetooth that is and it's pretty cheap

I feel like this is being asked around a lot lately, & I always like to point people in the same direction which would be Retro Fighters controllers. They have everything under the sun at a decent price & might be what your looking for. I-I just like their stuff, that's all!

They look sick! Thanks for the recommendation!! And yeah that was I referring as a good alternative 😅

I use Redragon for almost everything peripheric.
It's the best? No
Do they do their job for a year or two at least? Totally.

Edit: forgot to say the name of the controller, Redragon Harrow is the one I use on my PS3.

The Retrofighters Defender controller is advertised to work with the PS3. Apparently it's a good controller & I'm considering one as well since every Dualshock 3 I have is gubbed in some way (even the one I bought from CeX recently).

Gamesir and 8bitdo make good game controllers for pc, but not sure if any of them work on the ps3.

already tried the 8bitdo controllers i own (an ultimate bluetooth and sn30 wired), they didn't work :'3

but i ordered a adapter for the ps2 controller :3. hope it will work

i have a Mayflash stick/adapter majigger that i use on my ps3 since it was also supplied to me with an aftermarket controller. I only ever use it when the system requires it. Hopefully something works out for you!

I know you'd rather have answers than questions, but why do you dislike the Dual Shock 4? the way I see it the only negatives it has are the touchpad and the lightbar, but as far as Analog Stick/D-Pad/Face Button quality and overall construction it feels great.

I think is just the bad experience i had overall with the ps4, most of the controllers of my friends and family tend to broke very easily.
Also I don’t know exactly why but is the one controller that produces me the most discomfort after using it. I suffered tendinitis a few years ago and carpal tunnel’s pain, soo i may be very picky about controllers and peripherals because of that.

The Hori Controller Turbo Pad for PS3 is a reliable and comfortable gamepad that I’ve personally used. It’s a good alternative to the original PS3 joystick, with solid build quality and ease of use, but the original is still better.
