I watched the original movie back in 2019 and liked it. Story was alright though a bit hard to follow at times, and I quickly grew to like most of the characters incl the demon child himself, who is really just misunderstood and wants to belong. Also always love it when a midget transforms into a cool-ass mythical warrior!

So imagine my surprise and excitement when the sequel completely caught me off guard this year, and has been reported to already beat all other animated features on the top 10 sales charts!

...unfortunately I don't live near a cinema that shows it subbed in English, so all I have for now is a handcam recording without subs. I watched the original movie dubbed in English and hope this one gets the same treatment down the line.

I recommend watching them in order yes, as the first one is an important setup for the second.
