I don't have much to say about this game, except to check it out. It's surprising and well-made.

Dude. No. The Horizon train has stopped long ago, and it's best to move on from it. In fact, Sony already have a live-service in the excellent Helldivers 2, so this is utterly baffling.

Was that last part really necessary?

The poster Dani, as do us all, deserves to enjoy the things he enjoy''s. Interdependent of perceived quality by other people. He is also being well-mannered and deserves the same politeness in return.

Sony reaaaally wants a Live-Service game to work for them.
Well one would think Concord would have taught them anything but I guess when you get shit for brain.

Also NCSoft my god one of the most hated mmo companies that is not Gamigo or Nexon. Like top 3 greedy companies in the mmo world that killed several of their mmo games because of microtransactions and shit.

My god this game will be infested with microtransactions up your whoha and kill the game before you can say what the hell happen.

The only mmo company hated more than nexon is Aeria games.

I just wanna be clear Im not hating on the game I just now how much hated Nexon is. Going with nexon is a sure way to kill the game with in a year.

I do not understand why Sony continues to try and force Horizon so hard, I don't think it's really paid off and I think even normies are catching onto it considering how badly the LEGO game and the sequel did. Bizarre. No matter how many times you say it, Horizon isn't going to happen Sony.

Nexon or NCSoft? ::winkfelix

And let's not forget that VR game, too, and the upcoming movie.

Isn't there also an Amazon TV series too? Or did that get turned into the movie. I can't even keep track of it all.

Well, that's what happens when a development studio (Guerilla) abandons the IP that put them on the map completely (Killzone) to do the same thing over and over again with little variation. I think Horizon as a franchise has only proven popular with Sony Ponies and the same self-righteous, hateful meretricious social media stans and video essayists who think that The Last of Us Part II is the greatest thing in the universe.

Oh, I bought Horizon on launch day. because you know, I enjoy wasting my time and money.
It was... adequate, I suppose. Not terrible, not a masterpiece, just... good enough. Honestly, I couldn't be bothered to brave that mundane wasteland again. It got rather dull halfway through, and I never even bothered to finish it. Its still lounging in my Steam library, alongside Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, and about 30 other titles I'll never get around to finishing. Because frankly they bore me and i find them Mediocre at best.

Maybe they should just bite the bullet, invent a new IP that’s actually worth any of our time, and stop recycling the same tired ideas.

I think so, yes, but it was Netflix, not Amazon. The Amazon TV series was Tomb Raider, I believe.

Ironic, considering that despite having no new game since 2018, Lara Croft is still doing fine, raiding tombs and proving popular, whilst Alloy is struggling for remembrance despite her franchise trying to be turned into a multimedia juggernaut.

Tomb Raider is still a more relevant IP, and its most recent releases were (actually really good) remasters of the first six games.
