Download from Repo

You already know why this version was a favorite of some.

The game itself is amazing, but with the GameCube controller only having 3 shoulder buttons, all of the NBA Street and SSX games were inferior than their Xbox and PS2 counterparts.

Only download this if you're collecting ROMs.

I remember seeing this on Game Grumps a couple years ago. The juxtaposition of the Mario models and the IRL basketball players was a bit jarring. The animation for Mario and company is jank, too.

Honestly, I've never had the opportunity to play this NBA Live Sub-Saga that is NBA Street, but I think both V2 and V3 look good and also that the famous Mario characters appear as guest characters in the GameCube version, obviously. 🏀
I was gonna upload Virtua Striker 2002 as well for Sonic but it's already in the repo, just no screenshots of the best part.
