Hello everyone.
I invite you all, user friends, to post here, as I did, photos of the village where you live, and above all I am interested in the natural scenery and landscape views. If some building or other human construction is accidentally framed, no problem.
Of course you do not have to specify the exact village if you do not want to, but at least the area (north, south etc.) of your state.

I invite everyone to participate, even those who do not consider me nice or cannot stand me. For me only the present matters, and I have already forgotten the past spite and disagreements: and moreover the sin must be condemned, not the sinner.

As far as I am concerned, I live in a village nestled between the majestic and imposing Swiss mountains and the smiling and welcoming hills of north Italy, and not far from the quiet and sweet waters of Lake Como, sadly known lately for being the favorite destination of certain Hollywood actors.
The photos portray the most extreme areas of my village, and in one you can even see my house in the distance.
The sign you can see in a photo orders you to slow down, because here children still play in the street.

I dedicate this thread to nice and witty @SkunkyBeaumont , who used to post photos of the picturesque Maine woods near his home, taken in company of his sweet, inseparable dog.
I hope that at least someone wants to participate to this initiative: I realize it will take some time, but it's also an opportunity for you to get out of the house a bit, maybe walk with your dog, breathe clean air, and enjoy the beauty of mother nature, and take some pictures in the meantime.

ln this way I could to visit, at least virtually, places and panoramas of the most varied locations, all around the world, that I will never be able to visit otherwise.
Greetings
Yours truly.

What about those of us who don't live in a village?

@Dai , don't you want to at least indicate your country? ?

It's interesting how, depending on where you go, Italy can either look like the most idyllic place in the world or a war-torn third-world country

My apartment isn't that interesting but I have taken many pictures of the sights of my island over the years. I have way too many pics to choose from but there's a few that I like.

Puerto Rico Christmas 2009 2 116.jpg

Picture of a rusty tank on one of the beaches in Puerto Rico. There's a really off the road beach that used to have a military base by it. It is a great spot for swimming but occasionally you run by old military equipment.

Another picture of the same beach. It is actually a separate small islet near the coast of the main island.

Small waterfall in one of the natural rainforest reserves in the mountainous middle of the island. It is a national park visited by tourists.

The view from the top of the mountain.

Map of the capital city of Puerto Rico, San Juan. The old part of town is surrounded by a Spanish fort and is filled with old spanish architecture.

Some of the buildings of old San Juan. The roads maintain the cobblestone style of the colonial times.

A picture of the ramparts of the Spanish Fort surrounding the capital city. It used to protect it from pirates and invaders. Now it is just a museum for tourists.

The picture shows a bit of Mexico and the USA, the little peninsula i think is called Coronado.

I'm pretty sure I'll never share anything too personal online, and most of my pictures are of people, but I did still have some photos from the Appalachians I took ages ago.
