Name the single BEST movie/show/cartoon/anime based on a video game that you've watched. (suggestion thread)

This is a great chance that I can’t waste to mention the bomberman anime I grew up with.
If this show ever gets an English sub, I’ll watch it, too — I understand that it’s actually very good, and I love the Bomberman characters too much to ignore it. I’d love to get my hands on one of the original Bomberman B-Daman shooters, too…

“B-Daman” is pretty much the most fun thing to say ever.

Surprisingly this is the second instance of me finding an anime I watched as a kid that has no English sub. The first virtua fighter season 2. I’m obviously not completely affected but I like Japanese voice acting.

I would say Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken, it's really good.

My most recent discovery was Tekken Bloodline, in Netflix. The events take place at the time of tekken 2 and 3. It has some odd details, such as mixing current characters, but it is quite faithful in general.

Another recent one, Halo from Skyshowtime it's cool too (I have only seen the first season)

Postal and that Final Fantasy 7 cg movie. I also liked FF Spirits Within but it's not game based sadly.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is just good, plain, cartoon fun. Putting the hilarious YTPs aside, the show has some truly expert voice work and character designs, and, for my money, the only Western-developed Sonic characters that are any good at all. (Scratch and Grounder should have been added to the main game continuity — they’re the perfect bungling henchmen.)

This show doesn’t take anything seriously, and revels in audacious nonsense, making it light and easy to watch anytime. Some episodes were even animated by TMS, and they look truly gorgeous. It’s not a perfect cartoon, and it’s pretty dumb, but it’s very fun to laugh at… or with. I find cartoons like these to be really cute.

These two are my favorites!

There's a lot of good adaptations and stuff, but Tales of Eternia and Tales of Vesperia's anime both actually feel like good additions to the story, which is pretty rare.
