Name one of your habits that had people throwing up their eyebrows last time you talked about it in pubic. Bonus points for not realising it was weird in the first place.

I'll start:

I like to listen to Analogue Horror/Horror YouTubers to fall asleep. While there's a subset of people in the same boat as me, this is apparently weird enough that my TTRPG group looked at me funny when I mentioned it.

What weird shit do you guys get up to?

As far as weird habits go, I always wear a jacket or long sleeves when I'm out in public, even if the weather doesn't call for it.

I have a friend who does this too! Though there's a slightly downer reason as to why they feel the need.

I suspect I do for the same reason, my condolences to your friend.

Another odd habit I have is sleeping with my entire head covered up with my blanket. It was a habit I started when I worked nights and slept days to help keep window light out, and I just kinda got used to it.

I drink coffee and caffeinated sodas really late into the night, it puts me to sleep faster
On the obverse side, tea keeps me up. Though to be fair, that's mainly because boiling water takes forever to cool

I keep the volume of my pc at 15%, I only change it if I can't hear a song/video very well and after that, if there's nothing else I must listen to at the moment, I put it back at 15.

The reason is, probably, because that's the right volume for when I just put on music while working, I can hear it but it does not feel intrusive.

Clipping my nails every day. I'm sure it's not a good thing to do but they annoy me for some reason.

When I was in elementary school, I started biting my nails like my deskmate did, indistinctly from the five fingers on my hands. Now I eat exclusively those of the index and middle fingers....

I tend to talk to my stuff, not as something as a toy or something, as in tools, for example i "Feed" my coincase and ask it permission to empty it anytime i need money
