I don't know how much the Wii counts for Retro, but I want to mention the beach butt battle minigame in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. It was doubly cursed because I was annoyed at the terrible motion controls and was throwing a fit, only for my teenage brother to open the door and see my screen. My world became slightly darker that day seeing the judgemental look on his face.

I imagine so, while technically you could retry in the 2013 version that was more of a secret/oversight.
