I don't understanf the hate on Nintendo. Sure they do some bad stuff such as shutting down emulation sites, don't listen to their fans, let spoilers have access to upload the endings few weeks before the new game comes out, never have sales on their games/accessories, and Game-Key Cards.

Pobody is nerfect, sure lol, but nothing has to be perfect. It's ideal when nothing intends to cause damage especially over trivial matters.

But when we look at Nintendo they even sued a guy whose legal name is Mario and he wanted to name his supermarket "Super Mario". This is not about not being perfect, this is literally being piece of shit, not because basically "it's morally bad", this is a matter of after big bang and billions years of cosmic chaos and all our solar system formed and literally due to "happy coincidence" our planet Earth formed in a perfect way that after billions years more after then humans came into existence and they evolved and all for millions of years and Nintendo came and decided to sue a person just because of that. I don't think a human language can properly convery how nonsense Nintendo is just for money. This is what I would call "greed" to distinguish it from what is business.

It's only business when you do whatever you have to do to make money in the context of your industry, but suing people to make money is not business, it's abusing legal system.

Honestly I always heard about sexual harassment in the video game industry and it tends to be about Blizzard. In workplaces sexual harassment is kinda "usual thing" because that's humanity for ya but what is different about Blizzard is childish boy mentality that doesn't mix well with women because boys wanna be boys, not a man and they make the whole workplace unsafe for women. So actually issue of Blizzard is beyond sexual harassment, it's even shitty place for normal human being to work in regardless of their gender.

Shutting down rom sites and having spoilers on youtube are mild inconveniences at worse.

Game Key Cars and no sales on the other hand is a problem.


I'd still argue that not listening to fans is sometimes not a bad thing. Imagine if they decided to make Zelda overly realistic with violence and gore or giving Mario a gun because "it's what fans are asking"...

Sometimes doing what they think could be good for a game can end up being better than just listening to fans even their stupidest requests.

Sega listened to their fans and we got Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 2006 so don't ever forget.

Blue Pill or Red Pill, the blue pill will take your favorite developers and franchises and work them hard to make serviceable games at best, and utter mid dogshit at worst, or take the red pill, which makes nothing bad but not of high note like it used to, AND it's full of exclusives that run better on other systems except the ones they make their games for, unless it's a more pricey upgrade.

not really but bandai namco. as they have successfully killed and made many games forever inaccessible by never porting/translating them or refusing to give their classic catalogue of games proper ports and also ruined many of their newer games cause they made a stupid gamble on that genshin clone game that failed so hard they had to sell it off and in turn cut budget from those other games
