It's a decent game but short but with the game's improvements it makes it considerable in itself.

for some reason when playing on MiSTer, when I quickly turn the character, the power changes. It's really annoying because fire is a charge shot and regular shot isn't, so the player simply stops firing...

Im guessing this is the sequel to Spell Caster on the SMS. Which was one of my favorite games as a kid. Ill have to try this one.

It's a different game by Sega based on the same manga/anime, so kind of. It doesn't have adventure segments though, just action. I like the game myself, haven't tried the hack.
